Change begins in the mind

Agile Behavioral Change Framework - mental maps shape behavior and we set the signposts towards change.

Agile Behavioral Change Framework

We enable employees to consciously approach change as individuals and teams and to keep pace with digital and cultural change.

Using our 3 Phase Agile Behavioral Change Framework, employees reflect on their own behaviors as well as their perceptions of team behaviors. The quality of cooperation in and between teams is decisively influenced by the conscious design of behaviors as an expression of common team values and goals.

Collaboration as a central pillar of successful organizations

The interaction within a team as well as the cross-team, interdisciplinary cooperation shape the success of a company in many ways:

  • they lay the foundation for an inspiring corporate culture with satisfied, motivated employees,
  • they are guarantors of the effective use of limited resources,
  • they provide the key competitive advantage and
  • are a prerequisite for the path to an agile future.

Is collaboration on your teams rife with tension, inefficient, and team members unhappy?

Are you about to change your organizational form, optimise your processes or introduce agile frameworks and want to specifically support your teams in this transformation?

Is your company undergoing a digital and cultural transformation?

Will collaboration in your teams be put to the test by new hybrid or purely virtual forms of work?

Emotional, unspoken, diffuse, subjective

The challenges of individuals working together are as complex as the personalities that clash in a team. However, if it does not work, it results in decreased performance, loss of motivation, absenteeism, and departures.

In short: very high costs for the company from unrealized sales and idle expensive resources. The most valuable resource of all, the human being, cannot develop its potential and the collective added value, which is greater than the sum of the individual performances, is not generated.

Collaboration is shaped by the individual behaviors exhibited in the interactions between people. Processes, frameworks and organizational forms provide the guidelines. Behaviors are based on learned patterns and follow individual routines. Often one is not even aware of how one behaves and certainly does not know how one’s own behavior is perceived by others.

Change concerns behavior

Our scientific approach focuses on behavior change.

With an agile process and supported by our psychological App aspecx, we guide teams to the behaviors that reflect their team values, increase their satisfaction and optimize their performance.

In short: high-performing, efficient teams with top motivated and satisfied employees are our goal.

3 Phase Agile Behavioral Change Framework

Create awareness, reflect, share and develop – iteratively.

Our agile method is based on a science-based 3-phase concept with proven tools.

Phase 1 – Creating shared awareness

In an online survey we collect the perception of the individual members in the team regarding the current quality of cooperation. In this way, we create a data-based starting point and can make the effects of the transformation journey measurable.

In the workshop, the team then grapples with its team identity, defines team goals and team values, identifies obstacles, and becomes aware of behaviors that support its team values and team goals. The Teamwork Canvas documents these shared insights.

Phase 2 – Reflect individually, share insights, iterate

The jointly defined desired behaviors flow into our App aspecx. Each team member, supported by our App aspecx, will now regularly reflect on these behaviors and evaluate their own behavior in relation to the desired behaviors. At the same time, each team member evaluates the perceived behavior of the whole team as a collective in terms of the desired behaviors.

After each iteration, there is a common exchange, a retrospective of lessons learned, with data-based visualizations providing valuable stimulus for discussion, and additional supporting measures are developed. 3 to 6 iterations are the standard.

Phase 3 - Further development with reinforcing measures

After 3 – 6 iterations (individually defined), in a final workshop reinforcing measures are defined for the further weeks and months in which the new behaviors are to be anchored. With the conclusion of the active reflection phase it is important to use the momentum and to strengthen the behavioral changes with flanking measures. The aim is to develop routines and to sustainably establish the cultural changes in the cooperation.

In the run-up a second survey on the quality of cooperation is carried out and in the workshop the results and changes compared to the status survey are discussed. In this way, the effects already achieved can be recorded in a structured way and used for comparison in the further course.

Competent support at transparent costs – our offer

We will support your teams on this transformation journey. In doing so, we work in a structured, data-based manner with a transparent cost structure.

The 3 phases of Agile Behavioral Change are composed of cost modules, the scope of which is defined together with the customer. Regular reports show the progress of the project in terms of agreed deliverables and costs incurred. Adjustments can be made as promptly and agilely as needed.
